Things To Do In Baker City.....

There is so much to do in Baker City, it's hard to advise a Visitor, but....
This is what we like to do.....

Be sure to visit the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center and the enjoyable

Baker Heritage Museum  (this is the Baker County Museum!)

Then, go downtown and enjoy all the history Baker City has to offer!

See the Geiser Grand and all the historic buildings downtown! Lots of little shops, and even Wi-Fi Hot Spots! Some great places to eat and get a cup of coffee like Mad Matildas!
We enjoy Charlies Ice Cream on the corner of Main and Broadway! Once we have our
ice cream, we always enjoy a walk through the historic Basche Sage building too!
One place we enjoy in Baker City is the Inland Cafe....good home-cooked food!
And speaking of food...you can't beat Burger Bob's Drive In for great hamburgers!
The Milkshakes are pretty good too! But we have to warn you: the burgers can be messy!
take exit 304 to enjoy Baker City Oregon And...you eat in your car at Burger Bob's! You'll find the Inland Cafe
and Burger Bob's out on 10th St in Baker City.........hopefully,
these places aren't too far out of your way-but even so, we think
they are worth a visit! If you find yourself on 10th Street, be sure
to visit the Little Pig Drive In....they have good sandwiches,
and you can eat outside on their patio or take your food
with you...sure have a lot of memories in that place!
It's practically a Baker City Icon!

Baker City has two newspapers that are both worth reading when you're looking for news about Baker City:    Baker City Herald   The Record Courier
The Baker City Herald publishes daily M-F and The Record Courier weekly on Thursdays.

Looking for the Library? Visit the Baker Library.....  Internet Access, lots of good information and they even have a coffee bar inside! Take a break from the hustle and bustle, check out a book, and walk right across the river from the library into the relaxing shade of the
Geiser Pullman Park! The Library is located downtown across from the Dollar Store and Gentry Ford. And hey, while you're down there, you can visit our friends at the
Coffee Corral right across from the Baker Heritage Museum!
