 from Iron Horse Loop down to Huckleberry Road, provides lots of flat and even hiking.......... with lots of great views of the Sumpter Valley in all directions! 
These Dredge Tailings are just beyond Iron Horse Loop
and the area offers some great exploring! 
You can follow the railroad tracks here or just find a direction
that suites you! This stretch of the trail gets pretty close to Hwy 7 just south of the Sumpter Junction................ Snowmobilers like to use this stretch too! 
It's hard to believe these are Dredge Tailings, but they are! 
Looking SE towards Huckleberry Mountain and down towards Huckleberry Road.....Lots of great exploring with snowshoes!
