Sumpter Valley Blue Mountain Snowmobile Club Trail Crew.........
 The Sumpter Snowmobile Club is responsible for
policing and maintaining snowmobile trails in the Sumpter area-before the white stuff even falls! Most of the hard work is done in the summer as part of an agreement with the Oregon Forest Service to maintain all the trails for snowmobile use. You may not think about trail maintenance as your snowmobile carries you up the trail until........... an over hanging limb deposits some frozen snow down your snow suit as you whisk by or your sled grinds to an arupt stop as you hit a hidden stump on the trail....these are events that can ruin a a day on the snowmobile trails, right? Well, that is what the Trail Crew, made up of dedicated snowmobile club volunteers, works hard each summer and fall to prevent! Check out some photos of our recent work below....      Of course, it's not always just work when the Sumpter Snowmobile Club Trail Crew goes
out on the snowmobile trails! The trail crew usually finds time to enjoy the day!    So, the next time you travel to Sumpter Oregon to ride the Sumpter Snowmmobile Trails
